The pattern is formed on the right side by the purl ridges. Knitting on the wrong side makes the purl ridges on the right side.

I got up this morning – got my coffee – looked outside -

and – WOW…Hot Air Balloons right there in front of the window!

Hedgerow Socks

New Sock started …I switched yarn from the Toe Up sock (Fleece Artist – blackberry) to this sock. It calls for yarn that is mostly all one color. It looks great so far. Thanks Jane!

Toe Up Sock – New Yarn Switcheroo

I switched yarn for my first Toe Up sock. I will be using Lorna’s Laces “Black Purl”. I have both toes done (two at a time) Pattern is the same…Interweave Knits Summer 2007 issue (Ann Budd’s On Your Toes).

   Note: Frogged these…didn’t like the toe or the fit

Vacation Socks Done

These socks were started while we were on vacation at the ocean - kite festival going on there.

Toe Up Socks

This is my first attempt at a toe up sock. I am using Fleece Artist “blackberry”yarn (purchased from the Loopy Ewe), and size 2 needles.  Doesn’t it look yummy? ! ! ..

I am knitting both socks together this time. Pattern will be from the Interweave Knits Summer 2007  magazine -Ann Budd’s toe up sock.
