My husband brought these home for me  last night. What a sweetie!… they are such lovely fall colors and they match the pendents hanging above them.

I got invited to join Ravelry – Finally!

I have been checking it out all morning. How fun!..wish I had more time to add stuff, but I have things to get to.

Snowflake Socks

This will be my first attempt at fair isle knitting. Yikes!

I am using Lornas Laces Sport - I ordered it at Simply Socks.

The Summer of Socks is over, so this will be for another KAL. The pattern is from the Interweave Knits Fall 2007 issue. I need to make it in a bigger size.  Any info or help here would be appreciated!

Colors – Green and soft White. I live in Washington State “The Evergreen State”. The pattern reminds me of snow on evergreen tree branches. I really didn’t want to do red or blue – cranberry would have been nice, but green it is!

Dishcloth – Mid September – Done

This is the Dishcloth KAL result.

A Dishcloth Dress!…OK…it’s cute, but I’m not going to be using this like it is, sooooo

I took a picture of it and then ripped it back to the main skirt area and continued to make it a more usable square.

I like it – looks lacey (could even continue the pattern in other yarn and make a scarf)

End of Summer of Socks

Progress on my two pairs of socks for SOS.  Bad picture, but there is not much to see.

SOS two socks  Hedgerow Socks and On Your Toes Socks

This Friday will be the end of the Summer of Socks KAL. It was fun – had a good time – won some Stitch Markers – and learned alot about blogging. I just started this blog in June and it seems that is all I do anymore.

Socks1 – the Hedgerow socks- cuffs and legs are done, ready for heels

Socks2 – the On Your Toes socks (Ann Budd) my first toe up socks – ready for heels next

(Note: I frogged these socks – the toe was too pointed for me and very narrow – I will try another pattern for toe up)

I’m afraid – so I keep putting it off. I inserted a Lifeline in the toe up socks in case I mess up.

Tomorrow will be a “heel” of a day!

I’ll be glad when I’m done with these so I can work on some more projects..So long to all the SOS group, but I’m sure we will all visit each others blogs and maybe meet again next summer.

Diagonal Baby Blanket

Warmy Blanky for Christmas – using some yarn from my stash. Encore (wool, acrylic blend) perfect for washing and soft for baby. Love the way it knits – so fluffy and soft.

There is a free pattern at this site (after you click the link, you will go to the Lion Brand site, then scroll to the bottom of the page to see the pattern – it’s a very easy one.

I’ve heard this pattern is very easy. I have so many projects started, I need something that is simple no pattern, just motor knitting.

I won some stitch markers. These are from Alabama Fiber Dreams.

Aren’t they cute?   heart

They remind me of summer…this winter when the cold winds are a blowin…I can think back to the days of summer and the Summer of Socks KAL.
